If you have an FTP server and take a lot of pictures/videos on your phone, then this is a perfect application for you.
FTP ME is an application that will show up in your “Share Picture Via” menu. You can simply take a picture/video, select the Share option and FTP the picture/video right to your FTP server. This works great over Wi-Fi and 3G networks.
This was tested and works great on the following 3 phones: Motorola Flipside (At&t network), Motorola Droid (Verizon network) and HTC Incredible (Verizon network).
This app would be great for companies (such as an insurance agency). They could go out to a vehicle accident take a picture of the accident and FTP the image right to their server for safe keeping.
This would also be a good application for security and public safety folks as well. They can take the picture/video and upload it right away so nothing happens to the picture.
If you do not have an FTP server online, you can easily build one yourself for free. I have tested this application using the Free Online FTP server called FileZilla. Anybody can set one up for free. Please see my website for instructions. Please e-mail me if you have any questions.
